If you would like to apply to be a staff member than please pm either Roseata, or myself and we will send you an application by owl. Students do not have to fill out an application. If you have any questions on what your duties and responisbilites are do not hesitate to contact the administrators.
Here is a brief description. Head of Houses, it is your duty to select a prefect for your house, and organize the your houses quiddetch team. You are the one you selects the captain, and do not hesitate to give anyone a detention if needed. If anyone from your house gets into trouble use your judgement wisely.
Teachers, remember that it is you responisbility to have a teaching plan for the enitre year for all years 1-7. Do not hesitate to contact a head of house if there student is not behaving, and do not hesitate to give detentions.

Ancient Runes - Students study the letters of an ancient alphabet that have secret or magic meanings (CS14; PA4, 16; OP31; HPB5, 9).
Apparition lessons [for sixth-year students] - a twelve-week course taught by a Ministry of Magic instructor for students turning 17 years old in the next year; the cost was 12 Galleons (HBP17, 20).
Arithmancy - which is a study of the magical properties of numbers (Muggles call this numerology). For homework, students fill out complicated charts (CS14; PA4, 12, 15, 16; GF20, OP31; HPB9).
Astronomy - Students study the night sky to chart the stars, moons, and planets. For homework, students have made models of the planets, moons, and stars (SS8, 15; CS7, 11; PA16; OP26, 31; HBP5, 23, 27, 29).
Care of Magical Creatures - Students learn about magical creatures and how to care for them. No student in Harry's sixth-year class wanted to continue taking this class (CS8; PA4, 5, 6, 15, 16; GF13, 18, 21, 24, 26, 28; OP13, 15, 25, 31; HBP5, 8, 9).
Charms - Students learn spells and charms, many of which are difficult to master. Students often have to practice the charms for homework. Sixth-year students begin to learn nonverbal spells (SS8, 10; CS14; PA15; GF20, 26; OP13, 18, 26, 29, 30, 31; HBP5, 9, 11).
Defense Against the Dark Arts - This class is in a first-floor classroom. According to Gilderoy Lockhart, the aim of the class is "to arm you against the foulest creatures known to wizardkind." Sixth-year students need to learn nonverbal spells (SS8, 10; PA15; GF26; OP12, 15, 29, 31; HBP5, 9).
Divination - Students learn how to predict the future by many different methods (CS14; PA4, 6, 15, 16; GF13, 29; OP12, 115, 17, 25, 26, 27, 31, 37; HBP5, 9).
Flying lessons [for first-year students] - teaches students how to fly properly. This class is taught on the grounds at Hogwarts (SS9).
Herbology - teaches students about magical plants, their properties, and how to care for them. This class is taught in the greenhouses behind Hogwarts (SS8; CS6, 15; PA8, 16; GF13, 18; OP13, 31; HBP5, 9).
History of Magic - teaches students about the history of witches, wizards, magical creatures, and events in the magical world. This class is taught in a first-floor classroom. For homework, the students often have to write long essays (SS6, 8, 16; CS9, 14; PA1, 12, 16; GF20; OP12, 17, 31; HBP5).
Muggle Studies - Students study Muggle culture, customs, and habits. This class is taught in a first-floor classroom (SS10; CS14; PA4, 12, 13, 16; OP29).
Potions - The students learn how to create potions. This classroom is in one of the dungeons. The students often write essays on the properties of potion ingredients or what they have done wrong in preparing a potion. Sixth-year students need to learn nonverbal spells (SS8, 9; CS5, 8, 9, 11, 14; PA7, 8, 10, 16, OP12, 15, 17, 29, 31; HBP5, 8, 9, 10, 11).
Transfiguration - teaches students how to transform one object into another. The location of the classroom is unknown. The students often have a lot of homework and have to practice their transfiguration skills. Sixth-year students need to learn nonverbal spells (SS8, 16; CS6, 9, 14; PA6, 8, 16; GF26, 31; OP13, 15, 16, 29, 31; HBP5, 9, 11).
